Transforming HR - A Follow Up

A substantial percentage of HR Leaders wish they had more of the right capabilities and capacity on their team to reach “Best in Class” levels.

In our recent blogs, we’ve delved into the characteristics of strategic HR organizations, and we have heard back from a few thousand of you now. A vast majority of you:

  • Hold positions in Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance and IT companies

  • Occupy HR and Recruiting roles

  • Hold titles of VP and above

After completing the self-assessment we published a few weeks ago, many of you expressed that your HR organization is currently at a Level 2. The following graph illustrates a breakdown of where our responders perceive their organizations stand:

Following the assessment, numerous participants shared their intent to upskill or replace their teams aiming to:

  • Transcend transactional activities and evolve into genuine partners with the business, contributing significantly to overall financial success of the organization.

  • Gain deeper understanding of the organization's overall strategy, business goals and challenges.

  • Embrace the power of data analytics to make informed decisions, identify trends, predict future needs and measure the overall impact that HR has on the organization.

  • Strategically plan for the future by anticipating skill gaps, developing workforce strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business.
